I particularly like the idea of, when approaching seed VC, using two decks - one to get the meeting/ establish fit - and the other to present at the meeting.
Personally, I find it helpful to approach VCs by asking about 'fit' - as it establishes early that *both* parties are looking for the right investment / relationship and that this is a relationship of partners. However, I hadn't thought to ask the 'how much of your fund have you invested' question - but I'll be sure to use that in future.
